Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI-First)

ABOUT THE ROLE
Build and scale the Premedice platform — from React frontends to Supabase backends, Edge Functions, and AI orchestration pipelines. You'll own features end-to-end. This role is AI-first: you ship faster because you think in prompts, not just pull requests. You'll work on clinical chat interfaces, lab report OCR pipelines, medication interaction checkers, and the encryption infrastructure that protects patient data.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Responsibilities
Build and maintain the Premedice React/TypeScript frontend and Supabase backend
Design and implement AI-powered features — clinical chat, lab report parsing, literature search
Write and optimize Edge Functions, database migrations, and real-time subscriptions
Ship fast with AI-assisted workflows — use OpenCode, Claude Code, Qoder, Antigravity, Cursor, or Windsurf daily to 10x your output
Collaborate with the team on architecture decisions, code reviews, and technical direction
Own your features end-to-end: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, monitoring dashboards, and alerting systems
Implement AES-256 encryption patterns for health data at rest and in transit
Optimize database queries, Edge Function cold starts, and frontend bundle size
Write technical documentation, API specs, and architecture decision records
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Requirements
5+ years full-stack experience (React, TypeScript, Node.js)
AI-first workflow: you daily-drive tools like OpenCode, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Qoder, or Antigravity — and you have strong opinions about which to use when
Experience with PostgreSQL, Supabase, or similar real-time backends
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (GCP preferred)
You've built or contributed to AI-powered features (RAG, prompt chains, agentic workflows)
Strong opinions on code quality, testing, and developer experience
Experience with healthcare data, HIPAA compliance, or clinical systems is a strong plus
Comfortable working in a small team where you'll wear multiple hats
